“Choose your love, Love your choice.”

Every day is filled with choices: Choices about how we view situations around us, choices about what actions we will take or not take, choices on how we view other people and more importantly how we view ourselves. Those choices are where our power lies. It is in this moment right now that we have the ability to decide our direction. It is in the consistent moments that defines who we are. If a path is chosen over and over again, we begin to identify with it.

Now We all struggle with this. We make choices that we know do not help us. We choose to stay in ____________(relationships, careers, habits, beliefs) that deplete us because settling feels less scary than growing. Then there are many aspects of life that are out of our control. Something will happen that throws us off our game and we feel knocked down. We put focus on that something and next thing you know it feels like we are getting hit from all sides. When it rains it pours, right? Well Yes, life can be chaotic. There is no getting around that. However, if we choose to put our focus on the chaos, than we are looking away from what we do have control of.

Here is the trick. Look around at your life and take responsibility. Look at the choices that have influenced your current situation. Even Look at the choices that influence how you view your current situation. If you are not satisfied with the way your life is right now, than it is time to make some different choices. Start with little steps at first. You might be surprised how a few steps away from or toward your path makes a tremendous difference in how you feel. The good news is we are never too far from our path to find it again. How could you lose something that lies in you? The happier you are with your choices, the more you will feel empowered to take on bigger goals. It is a matter of listening to that quiet voice inside and then aligning your choices in life so that who you dream to be coincides with who you are. It all starts with what you choose right now.

Moment2smile Visions

Glitter left over from Vision Board Creating (o;

Well folks here we are. The Monday after New Years. Time to start taking action. Time to see what we are made of. I have spent a lot of time talking about following your dreams but today I want to focus on action. You are co-creator of your life(hint:This is not intended to be a silent position). Now I know this can get a bit overwhelming when you want to go from point A to point B and point B seems so friggin far away. It is ok. Breathe in. Breathe out. And just Listen. If it were right next door, it would not be a challenge. It would not be worthy of your goal. You want some thing? Go get it. Do not let false beliefs stand in your way. If there is an obstacle, cross it. This is the moment where you are going to stop settling. No longer are you satisfied with the “thank you for participating” ribbon. You were born to be your highest self. You a want to place!

You have built the foundation. You have taken the time to see what patterns you had that were not helpful and then kindly gave them the boot. You have dug deep and listened to that inner voice and know it well. You have reconnected with what your passions are. Fabulous start! Now is the time to move. Dreams are not going to come to you while you sit on the couch, no matter how positive you are. You want them? Go after them with endurance! You thought I was going to say with a vengeance? That has its benefits too, but often when we go charging toward something, we use up our energy quickly and fizzle at the first obstacle. This is less than ideal as there are sure to be many obstacles that help us grow along the way. If we fizzle at a pit stop, then we run the risk of getting stuck there.

The moral is: Take it one step at a time, but most importantly take the next darn step. It is about making small changes, little by little that turn into big beautiful noticeable change. Think of it like a snowball rolling over and over down a hill. It starts out small with a little momentum, but with each roll, it grows and becomes more substantial. This is our goal. BE THE SNOW BALL (o; When you hit a bump, say excuse me, take the lesson and then keep on rolling. Let’s just see what kind of an impact we can have in this year. Let’s just see where we end up and what we can achieve when we put our heart, mind and actions into it.
